Your First Visit to Our Federal Way Practice

New patients are warmly welcomed to our Federal Way chiropractic office.

Upon arrival to our office, you will be completing important new patient forms.  Feel free to download the New Patient forms beforehand so you can complete them in the convenience of your own home. A consultation will ensue with Dr. Yip that will include a discussion of your health history and your current health issues,  followed by a thorough chiropractic examination, and if necessary, x-rays of your spine.

Dr. Yip will be looking for the presence of a condition that happens in the spine called a vertebral subluxation.

After all the evidence for your case is gathered,  Dr. Yip will carefully analyze your health history and your examination findings and prepare a written Report of the Findings to be given to you on your next visit, which may be later the same day or the following day.

Dr. Steve Asks some important questions of interest to Federal Way residents - Chiropractor Federal Way Dr. Steve Asks...

What does a chiropractic adjustment do?
Chiropractic adjustments give your spine a little "nudge" at the right place, right time and the right direction so your body can use that energy to "right" itself. With a schedule of consistent chiropractic visits, a new, healthier spinal pattern emerges.
What controls every cell, tissue and organ of your body?
DNA? Wrong. Immune system? Wrong? Hormones? Wrong. It's your nervous system, consisting of your brain, spinal cord and all the nerves of your body. When a chiropractor sees a Federal Way patient with say, stomach problems, we want to know why the brain is unable to properly control and regulate the stomach. Which prompts us to examine the nervous system—the focus of chiropractic care.
