When I was close to graduating from college I was faced with the challenge of deciding what to do with my degree and my life. All I knew was that I got joy out of helping people, putting smiles on people's faces and making them happy.

While in college I worked at a plant and flower shop on the weekends. I did a lot of planting, lifting, driving, and cleaning. As a result I would get severe low back pain by the end of the day. The pain became so unbearable, that I could not work at my job like I knew I could. I had difficulty concentrating on my studies, and worse yet I wasn't able to play my favorite sport, ice hockey. Growing up in Canada that was not okay, EH?!

I was taking Tylenol and Aspirin but the drugs weren't working. Fortunately, I met a chiropractor. He convinced me to give chiropractic a try. The chiropractor did an exam, took some films, and then "adjusted" my spine. The adjustment didn't hurt, it actually felt good. I got relief, and was able to work at the shop better and more importantly, I was able to focus on my studies being pain free. It worked so well that after I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, B.C. I then attended Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri.

After graduating with my Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1994, I worked as an associate doctor for chiropractic clinics in Puyallup and Edmonds. I then started a practice in Tukwila up to 2003, at which time I decided to move my practice to Federal Way. I have been in full-time practice since 1994. I have a strong commitment to continuing post-graduate chiropractic education.

I have personally experienced the benefits of chiropractic. I decided to become a chiropractor to enrich people's lives through pain control and health the natural way. We'll tailor a chiropractic program to fit your schedule, your budget and your individual needs ... whether you're seeking relief from pain, long-term correction of a structural problem, or ongoing wellness care for prevention. We will be working together as a team to help you and your family reach your health and wellness goals.

I have enjoyed living in South King County for a number of years and I am committed to providing your family with the highest quality of chiropractic care available so that you and your family can enjoy an active, healthy life. I welcome the opportunity to show you the steps toward better health.

What's your plan to deal with drug-resistant 'super germs'?
Chiropractors have always been concerned with the indiscriminate use of antibiotics, accelerating the mutation of microbes that make "wonder" drugs increasingly ineffective. My strategy? Do everything possible to bolster my immune system through proper diet, rest, exercise, clean air, pure water and an optimally functioning nervous system with regular chiropractic care.
Can a chiropractor heal?
There's never been a case in which a doctor (chiropractor or otherwise) has formed scar tissue, mended a broken bone or cured a headache. Only you can do that. Turns out you're the doctor! All I do is help remove interferences to your body's healing ability. Ready to get started? Call our office today.
